Dominic is a qualified Fitter Machinist with 20 years experience in manufacturing and 15 years experience in Mechanical Design.  Dominic has run a succesful Design Consultancy for the last 3 years and now runs the Sunshine Coast Maker Space.

Mechanical Design

Craig is a qualified Quality Engineer and Fitter and Turner.

With over 20 years’ experience in many fields (Aviation, Motorsport, Telecommunications, Military, Agricultural, Gas Drilling, Emergency Services) and disciplines (Machining, Sheet-metal, Composites, Quality Control & Assurance) of manufacturing.

Craig started his own company, Ratel Engineering Design, combining his passion for motorcycles, product design and manufacture to produce a range of aftermarket motorcycle parts.

He also does mechanical design and is currently working on a number of diverse projects from a Candyfloss Dispensing Machine to an Automated Sheet metal Storage System.

Steven Verbooman

Product Development

Steven is an industrial designer with experience in new product development for various industries. After five years’ experience in an engineering firm, where he worked on projects through various stages from concept to commercialisation, he went on to run a successful design consultancy specialising in the delivery of unique end-use additively manufactured products. He recently co-founded Boomer Advanced Manufacturing Solutions (BAM Solutions), focusing on high tech equipment manufacturing.

Daniel Bryar

Business Information & Communication Systems

As a business analyst in the broader industry of information and communication technology, Daniel has spent 15 years building software and hardware solutions to solve business problems for both internal and external clients of his employers. His unique skills are embodied in being knowledgable about a vast array of interrelated systems and being capable of binding the various people, processed, systems and data structures together in a functional and coherent manner. Outside of his regular job, Daniel invests his time in both physical and digital creative projects that deliver a benefit to either or all of his friends, family, or the wider community.

Neil Waldbaum

Product design & visualisation

Neil has been providing design and prototyping services for over 15 years and has managed projects ranging from one off prototypes to mass produced products. His business, Deep Orange Design is based on the Sunshine Coast and caters for first time inventors and innovators as well as established companies.
Using a tried and tested process, Neil guides you through concept development to proof of concept and prototyping and can assist with patenting, licencing and manufacturing.
